Recipe: Chocolate Banana Cinnamon Smoothie

Here is a delicious and simple smoothie recipe to help curb appetite, give you an energy boost, provide you with adequate protein and satisfy your chocolate craving!

Blend the following ingredients until smooth (this recipe will make enough for two)


  • 1.5 cups frozen banana
  • 2 scoop protein powder (I use an unflavoured whey)
  • 2 tbsp raw cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp maca powder
  • 2 tbsp almond butter
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • A few drops of stevia (if you like things a little sweeter)
  • Enough water to cover the dry ingredients in the blender (less for a thicker shake; more for a thinner one!)
